Welcome to the Squash Queensland Junior Championships, a GOLD event on the Australian Junior Squash Tour. We look forward to welcoming you to Nerang Squash & Fitness Centre..
To be eligible to play, players must be affiliated with Squash Queensland or must have a valid affiliation in their home state (if home state is not QLD).
The individual event will start on 27th June 2022 and end on the 29th June 2022.
Categories will be GU9, BU9, GU11, BU11, GU13, BU13, GU15, BU15, GU17, BU17, GU19, BU19, GU21, BU21 and also Novice
To enter the tournament, kindly click on the sign up button and fill in the form by May 31st 2022. Please also make payment by June 5th 2022. We will only be able to put you into the draw if we have received payment by June 5th 2022. No player will be permitted to play until affiliation & entry fees are paid.
Tournament age cut off date is June 29th 2022. Please note that the players must be under the respective age of their category throughout the competition to be eligible for that category. For example a player turning 17 on June 30th 2022 or later can play in the Under 17 category. A player turning 17 on June 29th 2022 or earlier must play in the Under 19 category

*IMPORTANT INFO TO NOTE & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY*
Protective eye wear MUST be worn always whilst on court.
Players must mark and/or referee a match immediately following their own.
MONRAD DRAWS will be used for all events although if certain circumstances dictate, a ROUND ROBIN format will be used according to QJC Policy. All matches will be best of 5 games, PAR 11 scoring.
Players are guaranteed three matches (a forfeit is counted as a match).
If a Player is not available to play within fifteen (15) minutes of the advertised or rescheduled start time for the Match that Player’s result will be a forfeit.
The Tournament Director reserves the right to cancel certain age groups if the minimum entries are not met for that age group. Players in that category will be able to play in another category or refunded.
DUNLOP DOUBLE YELLOW DOT BALLS will be used for all age groups.
Your match may be filmed or photographed by authorised person/s for coaching/development purposes. The photo/footage maybe be used also used for promotional purposes and be displayed on the Squash Queensland and/or Southern Region websites.
Players are not to participate in any media bullying of type – this will result in disqualification from the tournament.
The Tournament Director reserves the right to move or cancel the event should there be the need due to COVID-19 epidemic or other unforeseen circumstances.
If the event is cancelled, all entry fees will be refunded. If a player withdraws before the withdrawal deadline then the entry fee will also be refunded.
Squash Queensland at its discretion may vary any or all the above conditions.
